Best Electronic Arts (EA) games and how to play them on PC

One of the biggest Western gaming publishers is EA. They generate games of all sizes, types, and genres with thousands of creators in dozens of companies. Since virtually the beginning of gaming, their catalog is one of the largest in the industry, and it keeps growing as their teams release additional games. The Electronic Arts Play game subscription service houses some of their most popular titles.

How to play EA games on PC?

To play EA games on PC, install the EA app. Steam and Epic Games Store provide EA games, but the EA app is needed for authentication and updates. You can delete Origin after installing the EA app.

  • Visit the EA website to download the app.
  • Download and log in to the EA app.
  • You can buy or download EA titles from the app or Steam/Epic titles Store.
  • Start games from EA, Steam, or Epic Games Store.

Mass Effect

Enjoy the Mass Effect story with this Legendary Edition, which includes the single-player content of Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 and over 40 DLC packs. Mass Effect Legendary Edition lets you experience the trilogy flawlessly, transferring your choices.

The trilogy has been redone for 4K with improved graphics and UI. All three games let you play as FemShep, the female Shepard from Mass Effect 3, and character customization has been improved. Aiming, weapons balance, cover behavior, gameplay cameras, and more have been improved.

Titanfall 2

Titanfall 2 is a great Respawn Entertainment game. Everything about this game’s EA-controlled marketing and release was garbage. Titanfall 2 was scheduled to release during the busiest gaming season, and EA clearly intended it to fail. It faced Battlefield 1, EA’s other, more established shooter franchise, and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which series games explicitly avoid launching around.

Titanfall 2 is complete. Single-player campaigns, which have become an afterthought in recent FPS games, are among the greatest since Half-Life 2. That’s a large claim, but true. The courses are wonderful, yet you still have fluid and inventive movement and tight shooting like in multiplayer. This story has no wasted moments, from a factory level where you navigate buildings being created around you to the time-shifting level. That’s not even mentioning the multiplayer, which blends Call of Duty-style fast-paced action with complex movement abilities and Titans to create bouts that feel both overwhelming and empowering.

Dead Space

From the three Dead Space games, the first two are best. We think Dead Space is better, but not by much. The stronger horror focus compared to the sequel’s action style makes it stand out. Dead Space was about the only solid survival horror game at the time. Since PS2, Silent Hill has struggled, whereas Resident Evil had gone full force with the fifth and sixth games. Dead Space was the actual Resident Evil 4 sequel we desired, but that comparison undersells its uniqueness.

As Isaac Clark, a space engineer, you and a small team investigate the USG Ishimura, a huge mining ship. Natural problems onboard are worse than mechanical failures, but you only have repair tools to defend yourself. Fighting the perverted necromorphs with these tools was the game’s selling point. Unlike other horror shooters, shooting at the head is pointless. Instead, Dead Space was about limb amputation. You only stopped these beasts from ripping Isaac apart by cutting off legs and arms.

Battlefield

Battlefield is one of the longest-running FPS franchises, thus choosing the best game is difficult, let alone comparing it to other EA games. We never enjoyed the franchise as much as Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Destructibility was initially introduced in the original Bad Company, pushing DICE’s Frostbite technology. Though ordinary and more dynamic and involved today, blowing holes in structures or causing them to fall was mind-boggling.

BCS has the last good Battlefield story, in our opinion. While not as frivolous as the first, it provided us real characters on a compelling assignment in lots of different places and scenarios. Most people play Battlefield for the multiplayer, and they did it well. You have the usual class system, RPG-style unlock mechanics that felt fair and not grindy, large maps, fun modes, and that chaotic action of a tank blowing a hole in the wall beside you, causing the sound to drop out as someone else hits it with an RPG and you kill an enemy who jumped out in time.

FIFA 22

FIFA 22, the 29th FIFA game, is on EA Play. The game releases on many platforms in October 2021. Kylian Mbappé returns to the cover after appearing last year.

FIFA 22 introduces “HyperMotion Technology,” which uses real player data to capture their motion for a lifelike effect. Only PS5 and Xbox Series S/X have HyperMotion. FIFA 22 says it contains over 600 goalkeeping animations including movement, diving, and parrying. Create Your Club, Ultimate Team, Career Mode, and Volta Football—street football—are back in FIFA 22.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order

It follows former Padawan Cal Kestis, who has been hiding on Bracca for five years following the Great Jedi Purge. Even if Cal tries to hide, the Imperial Inquisitorius finds him. Now on the run, he must finish his Jedi training and prepare to restore the Jedi Order.

This story-driven third-person action-adventure game requires you to practice lightsaber battle and explore the Force. Explore planets with ancient forests, towering cliffs, and eerie jungles. After gaining new powers, explore planets with platforming and puzzles to discover secrets.

Dragon Age

The sequel to Dragon Age II, Dragon Age: Inquisition, puts you in the shoes of the Inquisitor, the sole survivor of a cataclysmic bomb that destroys the Chantry Conclave. The Inquisitor must deal with the Breach, a hole in the Veil, which separates the physical world from the Fade of ghosts and demons.

With the dragons flying, mages fight the templars and civil unrest spreads across Thedas. You must work with other characters to command the Inquisition and find chaos agents as Inquisitor. In Dragon Age: Inquisition, you control your appearance, followers, outposts, and strongholds. Your Inquisition forces and character’s battle style are also customizable.

Conclusion

From sci-fi adventures and violent shooters to engrossing RPGs and realistic sports simulations, EA has something for everyone. Follow these steps to install the EA app on your PC to play these top titles and experience EA’s best.
